A city of vice.

Thank you (once again!) to Andy Oakley for this grim imagining of the opium den.

The death of a thief.

A big thanks to Mr Chris Waller for this beautifully dark piece. Good bye to the snake like thief.

A Snippet ...

Here is a small piece from my new story The Philanthropist ...

Catching up with the man Sir Thomas noticed him checking a wad of creased and grimy papers that he had produced from somewhere deep within the recesses of his coat. From what Sir Thomas could see they looked like shipping papers. The man must be heading for the docks, but why steal a philanthropy medal? What possible use could this retched specimen have for taking Sir Thomas’s pride and joy? Determined to have his questions answered Sir Thomas tried to remain with the man but as they drew closer to the centre of town the crowds thickened and Sir Thomas soon found it impossible to avoid floating through passing strangers, a turn of events he found most disagreeable.  During his lifetime Sir Thomas had been a firm believer in keeping a respectable distance from everyone at all times, so shortly after walking directly through a rather tall woman’s chest he felt the need to stop and gather himself. This rest-bit was short lived as the tug below his heart saw him wrenched backwards straight through a passing cart horse.

Sir Thomas Anlaby

Whilst out on a Story Scavenger Hunt in Brighton I was sent along to Snoopers Paradise and told to find an image that inspired me and it was here that I found Sir Thomas, here he is.

The Philanthropist

My second short story The Philanthropist has just been accepted into an anthology of short stories entitled Whitechapel 13! So yet again I have mercilessly hassled my dear friends to create some amazing art work based on my story.
